Imitation is Suicide.

Ok so my Fourth of July plans didn't exactly work out as I planned =/.

I did, however, indulge in a few debates-eh, conversations- over the past 24 hours.

I've come to find that there is indeed a limited amount of originality in the world. Sad, but true.

I posted a blog on both Myspace and Facebook a few days ago titled "Thinking Inside and Outside the Box" and got both praise and disdain for it. Majority of comments were thanking me for speaking out and others felt I contradicted myself because "no one really has an ORIGINAL thought". WTF?!

(*my thoughts*)

If there weren't any "ORIGINAL" thoughts ... how would the NON-creative survive?

my phrase for the rest of the year and three simple words that have gotten alot of attention over the past couple of weeks.

it baffles me as to why anyone would want to copy or "imitate" someone else's creative nature ... nonetheless it happens EVERYWHERE.

-pictures are stolen.
-artwork is mimicked.
-the world is overpopulated with aspiring singers, models, actresses, dancers ...
sooner or later you'll run out of room on the stages ... then what???

no one likes a bandwagon bitch.
you're played and unoriginal.
CHECK, PLEASE!

where are all the teachers?
the doctors and nurses?
the poets?
the REAL??
smh.


it's sad. everyone wants to be a cool kidd. a flyy guy/girl. or they wanna bring the "80's back".

how about being an inpiration?
a trendsetter?
an outcast?


there's nothing cool about spending a ridiculous amount of money on an outfit for the club and not knowing whats going on in your own backyard.
but since you're chasing someone else's adaption of cool, you're ignorant to the fact that you're participating in legal prostitution. you're paying these people who've been hip to your game to fuck you out of your money.


now tell me ... how does that dick feel???
